EMU Professor of Written Communication, Dr. Steven Krause, was honored with the 2011 John Lovas Memorial Weblog Award at the Computers and Writing Conference in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Friday, May 20. The annual award is "given in recognition of the valuable contributions that bloggers have made to the discipline and in recognition and remembrance of John Lovas's contributions to the legitimation of academic blogging." The presenter of the award said Krause was noticed both for his blogging at stevendkrause.com and for EMUTalk.org.
