We had a nice turn-out the other day for our "Everything You Want to Know About MA and PhD Programs in Written Communication" session on October 10. Here are a few useful links for folks who were there and also for those of you who were interested but couldn't make it:
- Here's a link to Krause's introductory talk. It's a simple Google Presentation document, but it should give you an idea of the general topics covered.
- If you're considering an MA program (besides our own, of course), check out the directory of MA programs in writing at the Master's Degree Consortium of Writing Studies Specialists web site. It's not a definitive and complete list, but it should give you an idea of where to look next as you research graduate school options.
- If you're interested in a PhD program, visit the Doctoral Consortium in Rhetoric and Composition web site. The same qualifiers apply: it's not definitive, but it should give you a good place to start your research.
